Wentworth Falls NSW
Wentworth Falls is approximately 98km outside of Sydney sitting at
867m above sea level. This spectacular village is home to roughly 5500
people who live a very laid back lifestyle enjoying the natural beauty
Mother Nature has gifted them with. Frequently referred to as the
“explorer’s village” – everything one could possibly expect to find in
nature is here as well as other things one would never expect.
Pristine bushwalks and views abound, however, the Waterfalls is what
bring so many to this scenic region. A leisurely walk through the Valley
of the Waters Reserve will leave you gasping in awe at the magnificent
waterfalls as well as the indescribable views of the Jamison Valley.
The Wentworth Falls
Wentworth Falls offers the explorer several impressive falls to hike
to and photograph. Queens Cascade, Red Rock Falls, Sylvia Falls, Empress
Falls and of course the magnificent Brittania Falls are just a few of
the most breathtaking views anyone will ever behold. Others are located
at the Wentworth Falls Reserve and within the Valley of the Waters.
At the Valley of the Waters Reserve, you will find one of the
Mountains’ most incredible treasures. Pristine bushwalks lead you
through spectacular scenery, the rainforest and waterfalls that will
leave you speechless. There are many picnic areas in Wentworth Falls, so
don't forget to pack a hamper!
Regardless of which of the waterfalls you choose to visit, please
look carefully at the walk guides to determine which level of difficult
each may be. Although everyone wants to view the most incredible places
on earth, not everyone may be in the correct physical condition to reach
some of the more rugged areas. Always consider the fitness level of
those in your party and take enough water to ensure everyone stays
hydrated.
Some of the walks are rather difficult terrain to navigate and proper
clothing and shoes are a necessity. Using a common sense approach to
your experience will make the day enjoyable for everyone and safe for
everyone around you. You will soon discover that you want to return time
and time again in order to discover and explore every magnificent
waterfall that nature has blessed this area with.
